If you can't tell by the books on display, April is Jazz Appreciation Month. Students often ask me what kind of music I like and my answer is that my tastes are eclectic--if it's a good song and a good sound I'll like it regardless of type. Jazz has grown and evolved and is still relevant to today's music.
