Memorial Day is far from trivial, but it seems appropriate to post about it today. Originally, the day was created to honor Union Soldiers killed in the Civil war. Memorial Day now honors those who have fallen on the field of battle in wars throughout US History. Today, many see it as the first weekend to kick off summer with BBQ's and friendly gatherings.
