Wednesday Website: Moving Beyond Google Search

Searching Google is often the place most of us start when doing researching. Depending on what you're researching, you might want to try some other places.

Google Scholar--For academic research, honors students may want to use this when doing indepth topics.

National Science Digital Library--Search for Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematical Information

Directory of Open Access Journals--This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals.

There are many more specialized search sites for different subject areas--use the project links or useful website links on the right side of the screen for more.
