The Scorpio Races by Stiefvater--Every November the
capaill uisce come out of the sea looking for flesh. These flesh-eating horses are dangerous, yet the island of Thisby capitalizes on this event by holding the Scorpio Races. Puck and Sean both need to win the race for the money to hold onto their dreams. They both can't win...Part romance and part adventure, this almost pushes Hunger Games off the top of my best read list.
