Summary: This book is about the fantasy world of Graceling. Gracelings are humans born with specific special abilities. This is the story of Katsa of Middluns. Raised by her uncle, the King of Middluns, she lived with her dear cousin, Prince Raffin who is the heir yet uninterested in the the throne. Katsa was born a graceling with different colors of eyes. Her ability? She is capable of killing with a touch if she wanted to. All her life, she has been used by her uncle to carry out his deeds. Katsa serves as the vessel, a tool to gain power through threat and fear. Then she meets Prince Po of Lienid who is secretly a graceling. He serves as the keeper of the Middlun lady killer who eventually falls in love with him. Their journey has just begun though. They are on a mission to rescue Princess Bitterblue from her mad father, King Leck who has a dark and dangerous secret. Along the way, they discover who and what they really are, and the true meaning of love and passion.
