Monday Morning Book Review--The Impossible Knife of Memory

The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson  chronicles Hayley's adjustment to life in high school after five years on the road with her father.  Life isn't easy at home and Hayley never knows how her dad will be as he struggles to escape the horrors of war.  She doesn't think anyone else can understand but maybe Finn can help or her friend Grace.  Once again Anderson takes on a realistic subject for a teen and guides the reader through the twists and turns of life.
