The story of the Monkey King takes from a famous Chinese Fable. Danny hates when Chin-Kee comes to visit because he fills all the stereotypes and it's embarrassing. Author and Illustrator Gene Luen Yang takes three unrelated stories and brings them together in a beautifully crafted graphic novel. Last week, Mr. Yang (a San Jose resident) was selected as the Library of Congress' National Ambassador for Young People's Literature.
